January 12th Studio Night – an informal session with amateur models to help us to learn some techniques. Bring your cameras.

January 19th Malcolm Brown will be giving a Prints and PDI presentation.

 

January 26th Mike Bennett will show us some of his latest stunning work.

February 16th  Derek Doar presents “A Passion for Printing”  

Derek is a very entertaining Fotospeed sponsored photographer and a member of Nottingham and Notts PS where you can see a gallery of the type of work he does. This is an evening not to be missed.

 

February 23rd  Selection evening. 

This is a new departure for us. Scott Hall will show us images from which he would like us to choose a short list for the LPA Battles and The Foster’s Colour Challenge. A good evening to hone our judging skills.

 

March 2nd Keith Balcombe 

Keith is a very good local photographer and will show us a variety of examples of his work.

March 9th Graham Dunn  

Graham is a professional photographer based in Sheffield producing fine art landscape, urban and portrait photography, who has a passion for The Peak District. This is another evening not to be missed. www.grahamdunn.co.uk

March 23rd  Richard Houghton

Richard will be giving a talk based on his collection of Donald  McGill comic postcards. Note: These were made in the days before "Political Correctness".

March 30th  Lee Dixon

Lee returns to show us some more of his excellent photography.

 

Some highlights later on in the year include Chris Dale, fine landscape  photographer based Nottingham who has a passion for Sherwood Forest (www.chrismdale.co.uk), the return of Tesni Ward, a superb wildlife professional photographer (www.tesniward.co.uk) and Steve Race who is the professional RSPB photographer at Bempton Cliffs and also runs courses to photograph Gannets, Marine mammals and Birds of Prey.
