Summer Break Days Out

August 2025

Wednesday 6th August - Beverley

A day out around Beverley meeting at 11am in the Tesco car park. A walk around the town, visit the Minster and the Canal. Then meet for coffee and cake.

Wednesday 13th August - East Kirkby

A day at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby.

Meeting around 10am.

The Lancaster taxi runs at 11.00am & 13.30.

The Mosquito taxi runs at 11.30am & 14.30.

Wednesday 20th August - Hubbard's Hills

A leisurely stroll around the woods. Walk as long or as little as you like. Perhaps try a bit of ICM (intentional camera movement).

Wednesday 27th August - Lincolnshire Wolds Railway

Spend as long as you like on the platform or take a ride on a steam train. The most popular venue from last year's summer break; so hopefully our new members will enjoy it.

Additional

Unfortunately, there are no track days on Wednesdays at Cadwell Park; therefore, we have picked two days in August if anyone is interested going on Tuesday 19th for bikes or Thursday 28th for cars.

Our Club Secretary, Ron, will be happy to go along with any members wishing to go.

​

Also, the weekend 8th to 10th of August is Yorkshire Wartime at Willows Farm, Doncaster DN7 5TA.

​

For all days out car sharing can be sorted between all club members.
